We have a big Halloween costume party every year, and I've been many times frustrated with the quality and styling of synthetic commerical wigs available for any specific period.
To that end, the part of this book that is most interesting to me are the chapters on "Fronting and Other Adaptations of Commercial Wigs". The message the author hopes you take away after reading the seven origin tales within: "Here is the worldWe must live in it together, not apart."
The tales are told as if transcribed from the oral tradition and probably work better if they are presented that way, rather than as a picture book. Very Satisfied with my purchase, I will never buy another publication without checking them out first.. I promise.
