As I got older, I assumed everyone had the same fascination and understood the importance of money, saving, and investing. It was not until my mid-twenties that I learned about the term financial literacy. I was informed that many children receive little to no financial education and have limited opportunities to learn about the various aspects of money. Having five nieces under age ten at the time, I felt it was important for them to understand the basics of money. What strikes me about reading a story before it exists, especially this one, is I'm reading a story that has always existed. It was less than half the price that the school library was trying to charge me for the same exact book! I would recommend this product to a friend!
