About the AuthorFr. Alfred McBride is a member of St. Norbert Abbey. He holds a doctorate in religious education from the Catholic University of America. In his 58 years of ministry, he has served as professor, novice master, university president and was the founder and executive director of the department of religious education at the National Catholic Educational Association.

It's only money (though it could have been better spent elsewhere).
*The Hoboken Chicken Emergency* does have a wonderful premise and some satire as well (hence my pleasure at reading its reviews). More substantially, the book did make me more aware of the way I/we perceive others based on physical attractiveness. That was good. They cover full wigs, balding wigs, wolf wigs, samurai wigs, toupees, pull throughs (additions to existing hair). I know that my kids, at least, are still at the age they tend to lose track of the narrative if they don't have pictures to focus on. Even though we feel insecure, with His help we do "find a way." This story is more about Henry, the Christian, than it is about Ares, the Christ figure. However, I did find the section on Pentecost (Acts 2:1-12) to be absolutely fascinating. I didn't get all of the references, but I doubt many geeks will be well ve
