The giant metropolis growled faintly as I stalked my prey. In a city occupied by millions of people, only one person mattered—the one that was about to die.
With just six weeks into his new profession, Jack breaks all the rules.
His next soul to collect is that of Noah Clayton, a loyal father, a passionate husband, a noble man all around. Jack discovers that Noah is living the life he'd always dreamed of.
Jack comes to a crossroads: collect Noah's soul with no questions asked, or take matters into his own hands, facing grave consequences for his own, rebellious actions.
