Anne lived in the old village her whole life. She loved it there; everything was so unpredictable. There was always a new adventure waiting around every corner, each leaving her with a new story to tell. Anne became a writer because she loved to share her stories with others, in hopes they would inspire them in the same way that they never failed to inspire her. When her childhood friend, Eloise, comes to visit, the girls receive shocking news that will change their lives forever. Anne and Eloise are faced with a difficult decision when they realize they aren’t being told the truth about their neighbor and close friend’s death. Each chapter goes deeper and deeper into Anne and Eloise’s journey, where they discover a secret otherwise lost in time.
