About the Author
Our location in the Wisconsin northwoods helps keep Willow Creek Press off the publishing world's radar. Around here, we're more accustomed to landing walleyes and muskies than big books and authors - events hardly worthy of note in Publisher's Weekly. But, a few years ago we did get noticed with the release of Just Labs, a unique and colorful tribute to Labrador retrievers. But Corrigan balances grim facts with wit and humor. it's refreshing. There is the 'spider-web' method as illustrated by the book's end-papers, where all of the subjects are ultimately linked together. Obviously, the web can prove to be a moving target and the instructor may need to provide new links as some have recently changed. The book starts with the Nagari script step by step into the complexity of Nepali grammar. Thinking about finding your own Player Two as a videogame quest was actually quite helpful and put things into an easy to understand perspective. Verjee has provided an excellent cornerstone of methods and best practices that have been established in humanitarian work. The publishers have made numerous changes to format, style,
and content, and not one of them is for the better.
