He's chasing down a suspect when he blows out his knee surgery, physical therapy, and desk duty are in his future and he is NOT happy about it. Men and women should radiate bona fide love and avoid useless noise. I love it when I discover those!. I'm usually not into the whole S&M scene, but it fit into the story so well, it just made the story hotter.
But it's not all about the sex, it's so much more. Never regret the past. Some of his later letters are, unintentionally, truly hilarious.
Taylor gives us believable characters and authentic dialogue. He really doesn't want to go there again.
